The Historical Space Modelers SIG is for model builders who are interested in real spacecraft, satellites, space probes, rockets, launch vehicles, research aircraft (X-planes), and related subjects. This includes proposed but not built space vehicles and hypothetical models (such as 'classic' 1950s kits). Build techniques, kits, tips, and tricks are encouraged for discussion.
This group regularly hosts one or more seminars at the IPMS/USA National Convention. A display is planned for the 2024 IPMS/USA National Convention Tiger Meet.
